Our Approach

As a 501c-3 non-profit and tax exempt organization, David and Friends, LLC encourages greater support of HBCU's students, youth programs and expansion of community services organizations.

Financial support in 2020 will make it possible for David and Friends to provide;

Scholarships for North Carolina's Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools class of 2020 high school graduating seniors that plan to further their education by attending an HBCU Fall 2020

Our Accomplishments

We thank everyone for their past participation. The continued commitment and steadfast support deserves a resounding commendation.

Because of the financial support received in the past, we have been able to contribute monetarily and resourcefully to the following causes:

  • "Community Table Ministry" at Friendship Baptist Church - During Pandemic 2020
  • Awarded Seven $1,500 Scholarships that totaled $10,500 for North Carolina's Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Class of 2019 High School Graduating Seniors that Chose to Attend an HBCU Fall 2020
  • "My Sister's House Transitional Living Center" Thanksgiving 2019 - Friendship Baptist Church, Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Awarded Seven $1,500 Scholarships that totaled $10,500 for North Carolina's Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Class of 2019 High School Graduating Seniors that Chose to Attend an HBCU Fall 2019
  • Awarded Seven $1,500 Scholarships that totaled $10,500 for North Carolina's Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools Class of 2018 High School Graduating Seniors and Rising College Sophomores that Chose to Attend an HBCU Fall 2018
  • The Diocese of The Southeast Reformed Episcopal Church - Summerville, South Carolina
  • Feed the Homeless for Thanksgiving - First Baptist Church, East Elmhurst, New York
  • "My Sister's House Transitional Living Center" - Friendship Baptist Church, Charlotte, North Carolina
  • An $18,000 donation to South Carolina State University-College of Engineering and Biological and Physical Science Department Funds - in Partnership with David L. Middleton, a 1981 Graduate of South Carolina State University
